Labor Day comes late this year. So, the city’s labor movement will come together on Tuesday, September 8, instead of the Saturday after Labor Day. There is a different location and march route this year as well. The rally will begin on Liberty Street between Church Street and Broadway, with the march proceeding north on Church Street before turning onto Worth Street. Assembly will begin at 4:30pm, the rally will start at 5:00, and the march will step off at 6:00. Our contingent will meet up at the 140 Broadway Plaza across the street from Zuccotti Park, by the Red Cube sculpture 

We are pleased to invite all CLTs from all CUNY campuses and worksites to attend our "Know Your Rights" presentation. The presentation will be led by Ms. Faye Moore and Greg Douros in the PSC Union Hall. This session will provide valuable information about your rights and benefits as an employee. Many questions arise during meetings regarding workplace concerns, benefits, and union representation, and this presentation is an excellent opportunity to become better informed. The CLT General Meeting will be held in conjunction with the workshop so you’ll be able to learn more about issues that may affect your professional journey and future as an employee.
